The second prayer is O Blood and Water (Polish: O krwi i wodo), also known as conversion prayer. It is repeated three times in succession, while remaining on the first large bead, and may be used along with the first opening prayer to begin the chaplet. Its full text, as reported in the Diary, is:

[1]The Divine Mercy devotion is composed of several practices such as the Divine Mercy Sunday, the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy or the Divine Mercy image, which Kowalska describes in her diary as "God's loving mercy" towards all people, especially for sinners.
The rays that stream out have symbolic meanings: red for the blood of Jesus, and pale for the water (which justifies souls). The whole image is a symbol of charity, forgiveness and love of God, referred to as the "Fountain of Mercy". According to Kowalska's diary, the image is based on her 1931 vision of Jesus. [1]
The following prayer is said on the crucifix: "O Jesus, Divine Redeemer, be merciful to us and to the whole world. Amen." followed by the first three beads: "Holy God, Mighty God, Immortal God, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Amen" (This prayer is found in the later Chaplet of the Divine Mercy.
