Centennial High School is a public high school located on the northwest side of Columbus, Ohio, in the United States. It is a part of Columbus City Schools . The school opened in 1976, initially only housing new students in 10th grade.
In 1989, Centennial High School was honored in the Blue Ribbon Schools Program, the highest honor a school can receive in the United States. [5] In 2008, 76% of the school's seniors received a high school diploma. Of 411 students, 311 graduated, 73 dropped out, eight received a modified diploma, and 19 were still in high school in 2009.
