But "the most handsome man" for the general public is sometimes a very handsome man who is also very masculine and not pretty. Sometimes all it takes is age - the age will knock the pretty off a beautiful man's face and he becomes handsome. JFK Jr is a great example of a really handsome man who was never a pretty man.
Robert Taylor still looked good over 40, like in Ivanhoe when he was 41, or later in the 1950s. Anyhow this thread is about plastic surgery. I think Cary Grant may have had a nose job, and also may have had his ears fixed, because I always noticed, even when I was a kid, his ears looked sliced off on the bottom, like the lobes were just cut off.

Taylor was the ultimate Mama's boy, catering to his wacky mother's every demand, including often sleeping in the same bed with her when he was a grown man.
