The SIAI-Marchetti S.211 (later Aermacchi S-211) is a turbofan-powered military trainer aircraft designed and originally marketed by Italian aviation manufacturer SIAI-Marchetti. SIAI-Marchetti started to develop the S-211 in 1976 as a private venture initiative, announcing its existence during the following year.

After completing his flight school in 1993, Parreño served as a flight instructor pilot where he flew the Cessna T-41 Mescalero, the SIAI-Marchetti SF.260, and the SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 TP under the PAF Flying School. The S.67 made its first flight on 28 January 1930. Il Centro Sperimentali (The Experimental Center) began testing of the prototype in early March 1930, during which it crashed on 3 April 1930. [2] Despite this unfortunate end to the testing program, SIAI received a production order for three more aircraft.
