The National Museum of Mathematics or MoMath [1] is a mathematics museum in Manhattan, New York City. [2] [3] It opened on December 15, 2012, [4] with over thirty interactive exhibits. [5] [6] The mission of the museum is to "enhance public understanding and perception of mathematics". [7]
In 2023, a public contest run by the National Museum of Mathematics in New York City and the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust in London asked people to submit creative renditions of the hat einstein. In 2019-2020, "Sails" was on display at the Math Unfolded exhibition at the National Museum of Mathematics. [15] [16] In 2007, Mosely began designing origami-like polyhedral models using egg cartons.
