Tyrone is a borough in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States, located 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Altoona, on the Little Juniata River. Tyrone was of considerable commercial importance in the twentieth century.
Also located in the district are a railroad bed and viaduct (c. 1900) and road bridge at East 10th Street and Blair Avenue (c. 1900). Also located in the district but listed separately is the Tyrone Armory. [2] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. [1]
