François-Jérôme d'Abadie [29] born in Grenade-en-Marsan, former captain in the Regiment of Piedmont having the rank of colonel, and lieutenant du roi in the Bastille since 1 December 1750, was appointed governor on 8 December 1758 and succeeded Pierre Baisle.
