His elder son, John Foster, was MP for Dunleer 1790–92 and died without issue before 18 April 1792. [3] That John should not be confused with his cousin John William Foster, MP for Dunleer 1783–90. [4] His wife (d. 1824) had in 1790 been created an Irish peeress, as Baroness Oriel, and in 1797 Viscountess Ferrard.

Sir Hugh Hill, 1st Baronet (1 January 1727 – 10 February 1795) was an Anglo-Irish politician. Hill was High Sheriff of Londonderry City from 1751 to 1753. He was the Member of Parliament for Londonderry City in the Irish House of Commons between 1768 and his death in 1795. [ 1 ]
Peter Holmes (1731–1802) of Peterfield was an Irish High Sheriff and MP in the Parliament of Ireland. He was the son of Robert Holmes of Peterfield, County Tipperary. Peter was High Sheriff of Tipperary for 1772 and served as Member of Parliament for Banagher from 1761 to 1790.
