Kaifi Khalil (Urdu: کیفی خلیل; born 2 September 1996) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and composer based in Karachi. [1] He rose to prominence in 2022 after his debut in Coke Studio's Balochi song "Kana Yaari". [2] [3] His song "Kahani Suno 2.0" topped Spotify charts in Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. His soulfoul rendition of the song "Teri Mitti" from the Hindi film Kesari recorded in 2020 went viral in July 2021. [7] [8] He was introduced to Coke Studio after being approached by its producer Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan for season 14, where he collaborated with artists Kaifi Khalil and Eva B for the Balochi pop track "Kana Yaari". Kana Yaari is a Balochi song featuring a narrative developed by Kaifi Khalil and Eva B, with lyrics penned by the duo alongside Wahab Bugti. Kaifi Khalil also composed the music, while Xulfi, Abdullah Siddiqui, Arsalan Hasan, and Sherry Khattak collaborated on the arrangement and production.

The fifteenth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan aired from 14 April to 4 July 2024 and was produced and curated by Xulfi.Maintaining the format of the previous season, this season featured 11 original compositions released as individual singles, each accompanied by a dedicated music video.
Elaborating on that in later interviews, he states, "Kahani Suno was an old song and I decided to rewrite it and do justice to that track. I wanted people to relate to the song as if they are listening to someone’s story.” [6] [7] "Kahani Suno 2.0" was released on May 31, 2022; along with the music video the following day.
