This template is used on approximately 15,000 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage . Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.
The external links guideline recommends avoiding links to Facebook unless the profile is an official account, "controlled by the subject (organization or individual person) of the Wikipedia article" and when the links to Facebook "provide the reader with unique content and are not prominently linked from other official websites".

Sometimes after uploading a new version of an image the thumbnails in articles still show the old image even if you have bypassed your browser cache (which is especially ugly if the new image is of a different size).
