The East End of London, often referred to within the London area simply as the East End, is the historic core of wider East London, east of the Roman and medieval walls of the City of London and north of the River Thames.

There are several small parks in the area, with the large West Ham Park 1 mile (1.6 km) north.
Custom House is an area in the London Borough of Newham, in East London, England.. The area is named after the custom house of Royal Victoria Dock.Today the dock is used for recreation but, in the past, it dominated the industry and commerce of the area from 1855 until the 1940s before closing in 1980.
