Amar'e Carsares Jehoshaphat Stoudemire / ə ˈ m ɑːr eɪ ˈ s t ɒ d ə m aɪər / ə-MAR-ay STOD-ə-myre; Hebrew: אמארה יהושפט סטודמאייר; on November 16, 1982) [1] is an American professional basketball coach and former player who most recently served as a player development assistant for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
