Morgan County Courthouse-- located in downtown McConnelsville, the Greek Revival style building was designed by architect William P. Johnson and built in 1858 at a cost of $10,000. Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of 2023, the population was 13,646, [1] making it the third-least populous county in Ohio. Its county seat is McConnelsville. [2] The county was created in 1817 and later organized in 1819. [3] It is named for Daniel Morgan, an officer in the American Revolutionary War. [4]
