"Welcome to Pooh Corner Theme Song" "Try a Little Something New" (Rabbit's Song); is sung by Rabbit. It is about how Rabbit deals with his "naughty habits" of 'mundanity and stagnation.' The song was re-written for the later 1999 VHS production, Sing a Song with Pooh Bear, in which Tigger and Owl perform it as a duet.
When Rabbit forces Tigger to have a bath, the bounce-happy tiger's stripes come off. The gang believes that this "new" creature isn't Tigger, as all Tiggers have stripes, prompting an identity crisis in the sad tiger. Eventually, Eeyore solves the problem by pointing out that it is Tigger's heart, not his stripes, that make him who he truly is.
He lives in the southeast corner of the Hundred Acre Wood, in an area labeled "Eeyore's Gloomy Place: Rather Boggy and Sad" on the map in the Winnie-the-Pooh book. He has a stick house therein called The House at Pooh Corner. Pooh and Piglet built it for him after accidentally mistaking the original house that Eeyore built for a pile of sticks.
A saddened Piglet presents the balloon to Eeyore anyway as Pooh arrives with the empty honey pot a minute later. Eeyore is gladdened, as he can now put the broken balloon into the pot and remove it again. Later, a party is thrown for Eeyore during which Tigger invites himself to the festivities.
The House at Pooh Corner is a 1928 children's book by A. A. Milne and illustrated by E. H. Shepard. This book is the second novel, and final one by Milne, to feature Winnie-the-Pooh and his world. The book is also notable for introducing the character Tigger .
