The results of India's general elections to constitute 18th Lok Sabha, held in April–June 2024 were announced on 4th and 5th June 2024. [1] The main contenders were two alliance groups of the Incumbent National Democratic Alliance (N.D.A) led by Bharatiya Janata Party; and the Opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.) led by Indian National Congress.
The tenure of sixteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly was scheduled to end on 24 June 2024. [1] The previous assembly elections were held in April 2019. After the elections, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) formed the state government, with the then incumbent Naveen Patnaik continuing as the Chief Minister.

Voting were held on 20th May 2024 in 2nd phase of Odisha Assembly Election & 5th phase of Indian General Election. Counting of votes was on 4th June 2024.
