West Rancho Dominguez, (pronunciation ⓘ) formerly known as West Compton and also known as East Gardena, [3] is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) located in southern Los Angeles County, California. Per the 2020 census, the population was 24,347. [4] The community lies to the west (but is not a part) of the city of Compton.
