Viridiana (pronounced [biɾiˈðjana]) is a 1961 Spanish-Mexican surrealist [1] comedy-drama film directed by Luis Buñuel and produced by Gustavo Alatriste. [2] It is loosely based on the 1895 novel Halma by Benito Pérez Galdós .
From her relationship with Alatriste, she had a daughter, actress Viridiana Alatriste (1963–1982). Viridiana died in a car accident in Mexico City in 1982 at the age of 19. [68] Her third marriage was to rock-and-roll singer and idol Enrique Guzmán. Pinal and Guzmán met when he was a guest on Pinal's television show ¡Ahora Silvia!
In December 2016 it was confirmed that Televisa was preparing a series based on the life of Silvia Pinal, [4] and that production would begin in February 2017. [4] Then in May 2017 it was announced that the series would be canceled, [5] but later it was confirmed that it was only postponed. [6]

He was married several other times, to actresses Ariadne Welter, and Sonia Infante (the latter for 18 years) and had more than 20 other children, most of them in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
In 1990, a teen-oriented soap opera, Alcanzar una estrella (Reaching a Star), with Eduardo Capetillo, had become a major hit on Mexican television.Pasquel acted in that production's 1991 sequel, Alcanzar una estrella II, where she acted alongside Capetillo, Sasha Sokol and a budding Puerto Rican star named Ricky Martin.
