PayPal Park (formerly Earthquakes Stadium and Avaya Stadium) is a soccer-specific stadium in San Jose, California. It is the home stadium of the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer (MLS) and Bay FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The stadium is located on the Airport West site next to San Jose International Airport. [8] [9]
In 1998, the field was widened and other renovations were carried out for the San Jose Earthquakes soccer team in accordance with official FIFA regulations. On July 21, 2023, the team announced that they had signed a five-year agreement to play at PayPal Park in San Jose, the home of MLS's San Jose Earthquakes, while planning construction of their own stadium.
