Soarin', also known as Soarin' Over California, Soarin' Around the World, Soaring Over the Horizon and Soaring: Fantastic Flight, is a flight motion simulator attraction at Disney California Adventure, Epcot, Shanghai Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySea.
Taking its place would be Soarin', a major attraction that was originally designed and built for Disney California Adventure Park. Simulating the experience of hang gliding over various landscapes, Soarin's massive movie screens and ride mechanics required the construction of a large physical addition to the pavilion itself.
Soarin' is a hang glider simulator that "flies" over a variety of scenes. The primary version of the attraction, "Soarin' Around the World", debuted in 2016. However, the original version, "Soarin' over California", is presented on a seasonal basis. The Seas is one of the largest aquariums in the world.

The concept of panoramic flying theaters as it is understood today was introduced by The Walt Disney Company in 2001 in their Disney's California Adventure theme park as Soarin' Over California. The success of Soarin' Over California initiated a worldwide trend which led to more than 50 panoramic flying theaters built since 2013.

The 2023 festival began on March 3, 2023 and ended on April 25, 2023, as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration. The food kiosks, live entertainment, food and drink demonstrations, seminars and Soarin' Over California attraction had all returned from the year prior. The booth lineup was unchanged from 2022.
