Napier City Council (Māori: Te Kaunihera o Ahuriri) is the territorial authority of Napier, a city in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand's North Island. The council covers the urban and suburban areas of the city, including Central Napier , Bay View , Onekawa , Ahuriri , Taradale , and Meeanee , amongst others.
Local government in New Zealand has triennial elections to elect city and district mayors and councillors, regional councillors, and members of local boards.
