Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band founded in Los Angeles in 1973 [1] by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni.. The original lineup featured Rhoads and Garni with lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow and drummer Drew Forsyth, though that version of the band was mired in turmoil that would eventually see Garni fired for making death threats towards DuBrow. [2]
Tensions between Garni and vocalist Kevin DuBrow boiled over during the album's recording, with Garni hatching a plan to shoot and kill DuBrow at the studio. Garni was arrested and immediately fired from Quiet Riot. [4] The track Afterglow (Of Your Love) is a cover of a song by The Small Faces, composed by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane.
Randall William Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American guitarist. He was the co-founder and original guitarist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot, and the guitarist and co-songwriter for Ozzy Osbourne's first two solo albums Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and Diary of a Madman (1981).
In June 1991, Heat renamed themselves Quiet Riot. Quiet Riot continued through the 90s in several different incarnations, including a full reunion with the Metal Health-era line-up. They released the albums Terrified (1993), Down to the Bone (1995), Alive and Well (1999) and Guilty Pleasures (2001).

The lyric, "well now you're here, there's no way back", eventually became the title for Quiet Riot's documentary, released in 2015. [ 7 ] The main riff/structure of the song come from an older track entitled "No More Booze," which was originally performed by Snow, Carlos Cavazo and Tony Cavazo's pre-Quiet Riot band.
