Albion Hills Conservation Area (AHCA) is located in the Town of Caledon within the Regional Municipality of Peel. AHCA is located eight kilometers north of Bolton , off of Highway 50 at 16500 Highway 50, Palgrave, Ontario .

North of Bolton, the road enters a rural stretch, where it divides two golf courses and provides access to Albion Hills Conservation Area. Shortly thereafter it enters the village of Palgrave, veering to the west to avoid a pond. North of Palgrave, the road is mostly rural, surrounded by open farmland; to the west is Palgrave Conservation Area.
Caledon is the northernmost of three municipalities of Peel Region. The town is northwest of Brampton. According to Statistics Canada the land area is 688 km 2 (266 sq mi) [2] and, according to the city the area is 696.04 km 2 (268.74 sq mi), [3] which makes Caledon the largest municipality by area in the Greater Toronto Area.

The Area was acquired in 1957 to construct a flood control dam and reservoir after the destruction caused by Hurricane Hazel. In 2003, in partnership with HSBC Bank , a contributor to the TRCA foundation, 150 volunteers planted over 850 new trees and shrubs in the area, creating 7.5 hectares (18.5 acres) of forest.
