Hampton is a village in Rock Island County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,779 at the time of the 2020 census. down from 1,863 at the 2010 census.
As of the census [10] of 2000, there were 2,490 people, 1,015 households, and 792 families residing in the village. There were 1,051 housing units at an average density of 215.5 per square mile (83.2/km 2). The racial makeup of the village was 98.21% White, 0.10% African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.14% Asian, and 0.62% from other races.
