The King's Academy was founded by a group of Christian business leaders in August 1970 and opened on the campus of Belvedere Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. [3] In 1971, the school purchased a 20-acre campus on Cherry Road where it remained until the 2004 school year. [4]
