Chloë Stevens Sevigny (/ ˈ s ɛ v ən i / SEV-ən-ee; [1] born November 18, 1974) is an American actress. Known for her work in independent films, often appearing in controversial or experimental features, Sevigny is the recipient of several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, as well as a nomination for an Academy Award.
Sevigny made her directorial debut with the short film Kitty, which premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, followed by the short film Carmen, which she directed for a 2017 Miu Miu campaign.
