The AJGA runs a variety of rankings, teams and awards. The AJGA has developed its own ranking system, the Polo Golf Rankings, that helps fill tournament fields and determine Rolex Junior All-America teams and the Rolex Junior Player of the Year recipients.
The tournament is the flagship tournament of the American Junior Golf Association. The field is made up of the top boys and girls on the AJGA Rankings, AJGA Junior All-Americans, award recipients, plus select invitees. [2] The 44th edition in 2001 featured 144 of the best junior golfers in the world from 14 different countries. [3]
The tournament has been played since 2007 and is organized by the American Junior Golf Association. It is held at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Floria, home of The Players Championship on the PGA Tour.
