Warsaw Commuter Railway [1] (Polish: Warszawska Kolej Dojazdowa, WKD) is a light rail commuter line in Poland's capital city of Warsaw.The line, together with its two branches, links Warsaw with the municipalities of Michałowice, Pruszków, Brwinów, Podkowa Leśna, Milanówek and Grodzisk Mazowiecki to the south-west of Warsaw.
The cost of the 2 km (1.2 mi) link to Warszawa Służewiec was 230 million złoty. The station fully opened for service on 1 June 2012, when Szybka Kolej Miejska launched service to Sulejówek and Legionowo. Following the reconstruction of the airport terminal in 2015 a passageway was built connecting it directly with the station. [2]
