Leach Highway is a 23-kilometre (14 mi) east-west arterial highway in the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, primarily linking Kewdale and Perth Airport with the city of Fremantle. It is allocated State Route 7 and is a dual carriageway for its entire length.
Booragoon is the indigenous name for the lower reaches of the Canning River. [2] It is home to Westfield Booragoon (formerly the Garden City Shopping Centre) and the council offices for the City of Melville. Transport is provided by the nearby Booragoon bus station. Mount Pleasant Baptist Church is in Booragoon.
The original Booragoon bus station opened in September 1976. [ 1 ] Booragoon bus station, is located at the corner of Riseley and Marmion Streets, and is the fourth bus station to have existed on the shopping centre premises, being built upon the site previously occupied by the Booragoon Hotel.
[2] Bull Creek station is situated in the Kwinana Freeway median strip, and perpendicular to the Leach Highway interchange.
