The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds (also FPU Sunbirds) are the athletic teams that represent Fresno Pacific University, located in Fresno, California, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports as a member of the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Pacific West Conference (PacWest) for most of its sports since the 2012–13 academic year.
Lin played college volleyball for the Fresno Pacific University Sunbirds from 1999 to 2003. [2] She was a four-time NAIA first-team All-American, and holds the school record for career kills with 1,963. [2] She was inducted into the Fresno Pacific University Hall of Fame in 2011. [2]
2012 – Azusa Pacific University, Fresno Pacific University, Holy Names University and Point Loma Nazarene University joined the PacWest in the 2012–13 academic year. 2013 – Grand Canyon left the PacWest to join the NCAA Division I ranks and the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) after the 2012–13 academic year.

Fresno Pacific University (FPU) is a private Christian university in Fresno, California, United States. [1] It was founded as the Pacific Bible Institute in 1944 by the Pacific District Conference of U.S. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The university awarded its first Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965. [2]
