Changbin joined JYP Entertainment through an audition where he danced to a self-produced song. [4] During his trainee period, Changbin teamed up with fellow JYP trainees Bang Chan and Han to form the underground rap group 3Racha, releasing multiple mixtapes under the pseudonym SpearB, without the company's knowledge.
