Judge Doom is a fictional character and the main antagonist in the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, portrayed by Christopher Lloyd.He is depicted as the much-feared, cruel and evil judge of Toontown, who later in the film is revealed as the mastermind behind the framing of the titular character and the murder of protagonist Eddie Valiant's brother.
Maroon is subsequently killed, and Valiant discovers that Doom is responsible for not only these two deaths, but Teddy's as well. He destroys Doom at Acme's warehouse, finds Acme's lost will that bequeaths Toontown to the Toons, and lives happily-ever-after, having avenged his brother's death and rid himself of both his bigotry and alcoholism.
Eddie meets Judge Doom, the sinister human judge of Toontown—having bribed the electorate to gain their votes—and his five weasel minions, the Toon Patrol. Doom confirms he plans to execute Roger using the "Dip", a chemical concoction of acetone, benzene, and turpentine which is capable of destroying the otherwise invulnerable toons.

In the story, Roger and Jessica are thrown out of work when Maroon Cartoon Studios resorts to cheaper animation. Meanwhile, Judge Doom plots revenge as he makes a most unexpected and surprising return.

Before his job is complete, Eddie heads off to Toontown to confront Judge Doom, a corrupt politician who uses a chemical known as "Dip" to kill Toons. Eddie finds Doom in a warehouse, attempting to lower a captured Roger and Jessica into the Dip. Eddie fights Doom, and eventually manages to knock him out (and revealing Doom is also a Toon).
