The Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, also known as DMS IIT Delhi, is a school of management education and research in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The department was established in 1993 by an amendment in IIT Delhi laws. It currently runs three MBA programs: A two-year full-time MBA programme with focus on Management Systems.
SWAYAM has accumulated 203 partnering institutes, 2,748 completed courses, 12,541,992 student enrollments, 915,538 exam registrations, and 654,664 successful certificates. In March 2018, IIT Delhi formally inaugurated a new Department of Design to bolster Research and Education on Design. The 25-year-old design course was earlier functioning under the ambit of IDDC (Instrument Design and Development Centre). IIT Delhi will be starting the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program in the academic year 2022–2023.
NPTEL was launched in 2003 by seven IITs: Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee, in conjunction with the Indian Institute of Science (IISC). [5] [6] The courses were designed for these students. Those who did not have the same background and training, found the courses hard to follow.
The channel is designed to carry video courses in different disciplines generated at various IITs on weekdays and special interest programs on Sundays.
