Harry Charalambos Triandis (16 October 1926 – 1 June 2019) was Professor Emeritus at the Department of Psychology of the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. [1] He was considered a pioneer of cross-cultural psychology and his research focused on the cognitive aspects of attitudes, norms, roles and values in different cultures.

Kalvelage was a son of German immigrants and secretary-treasurer of a company that made plumbing fixtures. In 1897 he built this house, designed by Otto Strack (German immigrant) in the German Baroque style with atlantes, tin lions, and a mansard roof, similar to what was popular in the homeland at that time. The iron work is by Cyril Colnik.
