Boardman Township is one of the fourteen townships of Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. The population was 40,213 at the 2020 census . [ 4 ] It is a suburb directly south of Youngstown and the second-largest municipality in the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area .
Once leaving downtown, the roadway turns south, bound for I-76. I-680 passes through residential Boardman Township and finally Beaver Township in southern Mahoning County. Once passing the SR 164 interchange, the Interstate reaches its southern terminus at the Ohio Turnpike, allowing travel to the east on the turnpike (I-76) only.
State Route 11 (SR 11) is a north–south freeway in the northeastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio.Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 30 (US 30) in East Liverpool at the West Virginia state line on the Jennings Randolph Bridge over the Ohio River from that state's northern panhandle; its northern terminus is at SR 531 in Ashtabula.
State Route 45 (SR 45) is a north–south state highway in the northeastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its southern terminus is at the State Route 7/State Route 39 concurrency in Wellsville, and its northern terminus is at State Route 531 about three miles (4.8 km) west of Ashtabula.
US 62 in Martinsburg. US 62 enters Ohio from Kentucky, crossing the Ohio River via the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge at Aberdeen. The highway is immediately concurrent with US 52. 2.4 miles (3.9 km) later, the highway gains an additional concurrency with US 68, which crosses the river via the William H. Harsha Bridge.
