X2. Just upgraded from 2-year old China bombs with less than 3,000 miles to Goodyear Endurance tires. Keep them covered when in use for a long stay or when parked at home (which is in a rural low-traffic area), but plan to retire them after 5 years if nothing happens to accelerate that plan. Ok so i went back and forth on the best tire and ended up buying a new set of Goodyear endurance 225/75/15 load range e tires from discount tires. My question is there is a bump on one sidewall and a dip on the other. I’ve only mounted 2 so far.
After ensuring the rims on the camper would handle the increased tire pressure (yes rims or wheels have max pressure ratings like tires do), we inflated the tires to 65 PSI. On the lower right you will see a link to the Inflation Table (PDF). The Endurance tires are the 1st ones listed.

The issue is the tread depth is 8/32" when brand new, whereas, the Colorado traction law of 6/32" is the minimum. Might have been slightly less than 8/32" when we purchased them due to the trailer was towed from the Oregon factory to the SLC ORV dealership ...
The specs I looked at this am said the tires are the same outside diameter. Actually the 80 series Endurance in the Goodyear was actually larger than the 614 85’s. Data from 614’s was tire discounter. Endurance was at e trailer.. We were at a commercial tire shop. Very professional. We had them balanced. They do seem to ride better. $1300 ...
We use Good Year Endurance tires for our local delivery trucks. This is a Great Tire however it is not designed for Long Haul use. School buses - Ambulance - Local Delivery Trucks are all low mileage trips. Long Haul meaning if you plan to drive 300 miles or more at any one time.
Just purchased a set of Goodyear Endurance tires [4] will be delivered today. On our last fifth wheel we had nothing but problems with the Chinese made tires. Blow outs, damage done to side wall and low drain points. I reviewed all info I could get on the Goodyear; 90 percent were thumbs up. I will have them mounted and balance next week.
