Ghajini (pronounced [ɡədʒniː]) is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language psychological action thriller film co-written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss in his Hindi film debut. A remake of the director's Tamil film of the same name, the film stars Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal, Jiah Khan and Pradeep Rawat.
Murugadoss again directed the Hindi version. [50] Asin reprised her character and the film marked her debut in Bollywood. [19] The climax in Hindi version was altered, with Murugadoss revealing that Khan rewrote the climax portions. [51] The remake version was released in 2008 to positive reviews and became a successful film at the box office.
