Palm Beach State College is a public college in Lake Worth, Florida.It is part of the Florida College System. [2] Palm Beach State College enrolls nearly 25,000 students in over 100 programs of study including bachelor of applied science, associate in arts and associate in science degree programs, and short-term certificates, as well as continuing education and avocational courses.
The college broke ground on its Loxahatchee Groves location — the fifth PBSC campus — in 2014, and Ava L. Parker became the first woman to head Palm Beach State College as its president in 2015.
The college would be renamed twice to reflect the expansion of educational programs, becoming Palm Beach Community College in 1988 and then being renamed Palm Beach State College (PBSC) in 2010. PBSC expanded to five campuses – Belle Glade in 1972, Palm Beach Gardens in 1980, Boca Raton in 1983, [73] and Loxahatchee Groves in 2017. [74]

Palm Beach State College's Boca Raton campus, located adjacent to FAU, uses the wartime main aircraft parking ramp as its parking lot. The wartime ramp stretches from Classroom Building B on the south end past the main Administration Building and the Humanities & Technology Building, past Boca Tech and beyond FAU Boulevard to the north.
