Edit summary histories are also sometimes considered during user requests for Wikipedia adminship ; so, making valuable edit summaries is a good habit to form.
AWB purposely avoids fixing typos in certain areas of the wiki-text. Typo fixing is prevented within: image names, template names and parameters, wikilink targets, text in quotations and italics, and any text that follows a colon or asterisk. If a typo rule matches a wikilink target, this rule will be ignored on the whole page.
To save time, feel free to fix several at once or even a whole section before clicking "Publish changes". Entries that have notes (mostly words to add to Wiktionary) are moved to the bottom of the page as the work gets completed, to make it easier for editors to find typos to fix.
The moss project seeks to find and remove the furry green typos that have been growing on Wikipedia articles. It uses a python script named moss and written by User:Beland to automatically find misspellings, mistakes in English grammar, violations of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, and confusing or broken wiki markup.

I think those are perfectly sensible suggestions, even if wrong in this instance. Sadly, no tool can be intelligent enough to get the right fix all the time, and this is the best we have. Certes 19:58, 13 January 2023 (UTC) Turning an ambiguous typo into the wrong word is significantly worse than leaving the typo alone.
