Pipes & Flowers is the debut studio album by Italian singer Elisa, released on Septembre 22, 1997 by Sugar Records. The album was anticipated by its lead single " Sleeping in Your Hand ". In 1998 the album was re-released with the bonus track "Cure Me".

The recording project, produced entirely by Dardust, was recorded at London's Abbey Road Studios in the summer of 2023 with a live orchestra. [7] [8] Elisa said that she drew inspiration in the making of the project from the An Intimate Night tour, both from the point of view of recorded sounds and in the use of the singer's own vocals.
The album marks Elisa's return to writing songs in English, following her 2013 all-Italian album L'anima vola. [5] The project features thirteen tracks, including a duet with British singer Jack Savoretti and two Italian-language tracks, "Bruciare per te" and the collaboration "Sorrido già" with Emma Marrone and Giuliano Sangiorgi.
