Sycamore State Park is a 2,384-acre (965 ha) protected woodlands and public recreation park at 4675 N. Diamond Mill Road, in Trotwood, Ohio, United States.It is the only state park in Montgomery County, Ohio along Wolf Creek, a tributary of the Miami River, immediately west of Trotwood, east of Brookville, Ohio, and south of Clayton.

Festuca rubra and F. rubra subsp. commutata are used as lawn grasses, and these species, F. arundinacea, and F. trachyphylla are used in parks, deforested areas, and sports fields for land stabilization. F. saximontana and F. idahoensis are used as rangeland grasses for livestock, and fescues often provide good forage for native wildlife. [10]

The Ohio Division of Forestry took over management of the site, then known as Tar Hollow Forest-Park, in 1939. The state park was created with the advent of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks and Recreation in 1949. The park was carved out of Tar Hollow State Forest, third largest state forest in Ohio. [2]
