Peden Stadium, also known as Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium since August 2022, [3] is an American football stadium on the campus of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Situated on the banks of the Hocking River with a seated capacity of 25,210, [ 4 ] Peden Stadium has been the home of the Ohio Bobcats Football team since 1929.
The game featured the Ohio Bobcats from the Mid-American Conference against the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks from the Sun Belt Conference and was the final game of the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season for both teams. [2] Both the Bobcats and the Warhawks accepted their invitation after finishing at 8–4 during the regular season. [3]
