Desire, I Want to Turn Into You is the fourth overall studio album by American singer-songwriter and producer Caroline Polachek, and her second to be under her own name. It was released on February 14, 2023, by Sony Music, The Orchard, and Polachek's imprint Perpetual Novice. [1] [2] [3] Polachek produced most of the album alongside Danny L Harle.
A music video was released on December 12, 2022. [8] Directed by Polachek and her partner, artist Matt Copson, the visual shows her pushing away sperm, running across a construction site, vomiting coffee over a volcano background and more. Her song "Sunset" from Desire, I Want To Turn Into You is featured in the 2023 film After Everything. [42] On October 17, 2023, Polachek released the single "Dang". [43] Months later on February 7, 2024, she released a remix of her song "Butterfly Net" with Weyes Blood. [44]
The single was recorded during the studio sessions for Polachek's second album under her own name, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, released in February 2023. In spring 2023, A. G.
