The middle school was added in 1983 and the high school in 1998. In January 2011, the David Posnack Jewish Day School consolidated its lower, middle, and high schools onto one campus in Davie, Florida. Previously, only the lower school was located on the campus, with the middle and high schools located in Plantation, Florida.

The Davie School (also known as the Old Davie School) is a historic school in Davie, Florida, USA. It is located at 6650 Griffin Road. It was designed by August Geiger. It opened its doors in 1918 to 90 students, and was in continuous use as a school until 1978. On March 29, 1988, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. [1]
The principal is Michelle Padura. The school's mascot is the Wildcat, and the official colors are Black and Vegas Gold. Western High received a Florida Department of Education school grade of "A" for the 2019 academic year.
