Anthology was a 13,000 square foot, 325-seat live music venue and fine dining restaurant located at the south end of the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego, California. It opened in summer 2007 and captured a modern feel of supper clubs of the 1930s and 40s in downtown San Diego .

From 2007-2019, a composite jazz ensemble was created from musicians across all of Marine music to support recruiting and community events across the United States. Notable performances include the Monterey Jazz Festival, Lakeside Jazz Festival, Texas Music Educators Association and various university and college performances.
In 1989 Anderson became the director of the University of California San Diego Gospel Choir. Taught as a class, the enrollment at one time reached 1,600 people. The enrollment now caps at 800 with an average around 600 per semester. [1] In October 2010, Anderson was one of 8 teachers honored in the UC San Diego Teaching Awards. [3]
