Shady Brook Farm is a historic home located at Marlboro, Ulster County, New York. The house was originally built about 1850 in the Greek Revival style, and substantially enlarged and remodeled about 1917. It consists of two two-story, gable-roofed blocks. The front facade features a picturesque front porch with Gothic Revival style design elements.
The farm was named for a shady brook that ran behind the property. The family moved to its current current location at the juncture of Lower Makefield, Newtown and Middletown townships in the 1960s.
The Chapel Hill Bible Church, Christ Episcopal Church, Dubois-Sarles Octagon, Elliot–Buckley House, and Shady Brook Farm are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] Marlboro is also the location of the Gomez Mill House , an historical site which is the oldest Jewish residence in Ulster County.
Shady Brook Farm has a large Farm Market and Garden Center, and hosts many events, including Pumpkin Fest and HorrorFest in the fall, Santa's Village and the Holiday Light Show during the Christmas season, and the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, as well as others throughout the year, including the Wine Concert Series and Apple Festival.

The farmhouse was built in 1866, and is a two-story, three-bay, Greek Revival style brick I-house with a 1 + 1 ⁄ 2-story rear wing. It has a one-story, Italianate/Gothic Revival style front porch.
