State Route 138 (SR 138) is part of Maine's system of numbered state highways, located entirely in Sagadahoc County. It runs from U.S. Route 201 (US 201) in Bowdoin, to Interstate 295 (I-295) while running concurrent with SR 125 for one mile (1.6 km). It then reaches SR 197 in Richmond, and ends at the junction with US 201 in Richmond.
This intersection is SR 197's western terminus. SR 197 heads east. From the corner it is called Litchfield Road. SR 197 then crosses the Sabattus-Wales town line, and then the Wales-Litchfield town line entering Kennebec County, as Litchfield Road becomes Richmond Road instead.

State Route 135 (SR 135) is part of Maine's system of numbered state highways, located entirely within Kennebec County. It runs from SR 132 in Monmouth passing U.S. Route 202 (US 202) in Winthrop and ending at the intersection with SR 8 and SR 11 at Belgrade. The route is 23.4 miles (37.7 km) long.
Its southern terminus is in Brunswick at US 1 and Maine State Route 24 Business. Its northern terminus is at the Canada–US border near Jackman (a terminus it shares with Maine State Route 6), where it connects to Quebec Route 173. Between Solon and its northern terminus, US 201 is known as the Old Canada Road National Scenic Byway. [2]
