In 2007 Demeter introduced the Jelly Belly Collection (based on Jelly Belly jelly bean recipes), Crayon, Pure Soap, and Egg Nog. In 2015, Demeter launched in the United Kingdom as the Library of Fragrance, [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ] because the name "Demeter," which references the ancient Greek goddess of the harvest, was already in use by another company.

Indianapolis's cultural district program was established as an economic development initiative of the Bart Peterson administration to promote public art and market the city as a cultural destination. Peterson formed the Indianapolis Cultural Development Commission whose steering committee selected the initial five cultural districts in 2003. [1]
With the death of H. P. Wasson in 1910, and his son Kenard Wasson in 1912, the store was sold to Gustave A. Efroymson and his brother-in-law Louis P. Wolf. The chain would eventually consist of seven stores with the flagship store located at 2 West Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis. Efroymson was president of the company from 1912 to 1930.
