Charter Oak State College is a public online college based in New Britain, Connecticut. The college was founded in 1973 by the Connecticut Legislature and offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Charter Oak State College is part of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities. [2]
The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC) was a State of Connecticut agency that supported online learning in Connecticut.Although not a college, it hosted and provided services to Connecticut's colleges and universities to make it easier for them to offer online courses and degree programs.
The school began offering distance learning programs in 1997. [3] In 2004, the school changed to a new board of trustees and became Post University. [9] The school expanded its liberal arts programs and graduate-level courses. In 2007, Post offered Connecticut's first fully online Master of Business Administration degree program.
