The Wonder Ballroom is a music venue located in northeast Portland, Oregon.Prior to opening in 2004, the building (originally constructed in 1914) was occupied by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Catholic Youth Organization, the Portland Boxing School, the American Legion organization, and a community center eventually known as the Collins Center.
In 2018, the original location on Morrison closed, leaving restaurants on Alberta and Southeast Water Avenue, [1] in downtown Portland, and below the Wonder Ballroom. [2] The Alberta restaurant offered free sandwiches on National Grilled Cheese Day. [3] The Bunk Bar below the Wonder Ballroom operated from 2012 to 2019. [4]
