The Open University (OU) is a public research university and the largest university in the United Kingdom by number of students. [7] [8] [9] The majority of the OU's undergraduate students are based in the United Kingdom and principally study off-campus; many of its courses (both undergraduate and postgraduate) can also be studied anywhere in the world. Domingue started his academic career in the late 1980s as researcher at the Human Cognition Research Laboratory of the Open University. In 2008, he was appointed Professor at the Open University in Milton Keynes. Domingue was the scientific director of SOA4All and has worked in dozens of other research projects. [2]
